💡: While uploading a document can be helpful if you'd like to upload a file in place of filling out a workflow, please chat about this with your CXM.Â
Upload a Document
Using the Upload files by dragging and dropping or selecting them feature allows users to upload a scanned document, in place of filling out a workflow in Aclaimant.
1. Navigate to the incident you wish to upload files to
2. Click on the Files sub-tab
3. Drag and drop the file into the Upload files by dragging and dropping or selecting them section or choose the document that you'd like to upload in place of filling out a workflow in Aclaimant by clicking on the selecting them link.
💡: When uploading related files to an incident, the following information should be considered:
-
File Type (ex: screenshot, .PNG, etc)
-
Contents within the file (ex: sensitive PII)
-
Acceptable file types:
- mp4
- json
- gif
- tiff
- xml
- webp
- heif
- tnef
- msg
- eml
- mp3
- oxps
- csv
- wav
- svg
- xps
- jpeg
- avi
- mpeg
- tif
- vcard
- m4a
- wmv
- heic
- xls
- dotx
- htm
- pptx
- 3gpp
- mov
- xlsx
- odt
- png
- txt
- rpmsg
- wave
- html
- wmz
- mhtml
- jpg
- modi
- zip
- doc
- xltx
- rtf
- docx
- bmp
Based on the above considerations, and depending on the contents and file type, this could result in the file not uploading. In turn, this may cause the file to be "blank" or not display information as shown from the original source. Please contact your CSM should this occur.
