Best Practice: Reusing Passwords for your Login with Aclaimant

As of August 10th, 2023 Aclaimant introduced the prevention of password reuse with regards to your login. 

Why?

This is a security measure. Cybercriminals recognize that password reuse is common, so whenever they obtain a working password for one account, they attempt to use it on dozens, or even hundreds of different applications. Therefore, if one password gets breached, cybercriminals could use it to access all of the applications associated with it.

Aclaimant has a policy in place that prevents the reuse of recent passwords to protect our customers effective August 10th, 2023. This practice will align with the company's other best practices that help to secure data and access to the Aclaimant platform.
