Upload a Document
Using the "Upload a document" feature, allows users to upload a file in place of filling out a workflow in Aclaimant.
1. Navigate to the incident summary page.
2. Select Files
3. Select "Upload a document" and choose the document that you'd like to upload in place of filling out a workflow in Aclaimant.
4. Upon selecting "Upload a document", then please choose the file from your device that you'd like to upload and then choose the document within Aclaimant that you are wanting to upload in place of.
💡: When uploading files in the "Files" tab in the Summary page, there are various methods in pulling in files located outside of Aclaimant and uploading workflows that are configured in Aclaimant. Ensure that you are selecting the appropriate type based on the information needed.
Uploading Related Files
By utilizing the "Upload related files" button, you have the ability to upload other related files, PDF (not configured as a questionnaire in Aclaimant), images, etc associated to that specific incident.
1. Navigate to the incident summary page.
2. Select Files
3. Select "Upload related files" and choose the file from your local device that is applicable to the incident.
💡: If a file upload accidentally deletes your information that you've previously entered because you forgot to select "Upload related files" button, please refer to the "Generate a document" button to reload the previously filled out information.
💡: When uploading related files to an incident, the following information should be considered ;

File Type (ex: screenshot, .PNG, etc)

Contents within the file (ex: sensitive PII)
Based on the above and depending on the contents & file type, this could result in the source not exporting. In turn, this may cause the file to be "blank" or not display information as shown from the original source.
Re-generating a File
If a Generated file is being viewed, there is also the option to Re-generate when a change is made to the file.
1. Navigate to the incident summary page, then to the Files tab.
2. Select your file
3. Once viewing the file, to the right, under Download, you will see the option to Re-generate.
💡: You can Re-generate your changes within the file without having to go back and Generate to reload the file.
