🚨: We've added new advanced Role options to give your team more control over their experience in Aclaimant. With this release, you can now restrict access so users interact only with the content they have personally authored.
What’s New?
You can now configure roles to allow users to view and edit only the incidents or safety reports they created. This ensures that users have the tools they need to manage their own work without gaining full visibility into records submitted by their peers.
Field Workers: Empowers workers to track the progress of their own submissions and provide follow-up details as an investigation evolves.
Safety Managers: Enables "self-correction" workflows where team members can fix typos or add forgotten details to their own reports without compromising the privacy of the broader database.
How to Enable
To update your team's permissions:
Navigate to Settings > Roles
Select the specific role you wish to edit.
Under the Incidents/Safety Reports section, toggle the permission to "Edit Own" or "View Own."
Example Configuration
The screenshot below illustrates how the new permission looks in your dashboard when "Edit Own" is enabled for a standard user role.
