🚨: The Aclaimant team has rolled out a new set of updates focused on improving communication in Notes and streamlining how you manage files.
Attach Files from the Files Tab to Notes and Emails
Adding attachments to a note or to an email sent from a note features a newly redesigned picker control:
Attach Existing Files: Search, filter by file type, and select multiple files already stored on the record's Files tab—eliminating the need to re-upload existing media.
Simplified Uploads: When uploading brand-new files, the separate rename-and-tag step has been removed. Newly uploaded files now automatically inherit the note's tags and confidentiality settings.
Compact Display: All attached files are neatly displayed in a compact chip list within the single Add attachments control, giving you a clear and streamlined view before saving or sending.
Notification of Replies to Emails
When you send an email from a note, you will now be notified as soon as a recipient replies.
Instant Visibility: Previously, replies to emails sent from the Notes tab could go unnoticed without an alert. Now, the original sender receives an immediate notification when a response arrives.
Direct Action: Clicking the reply notification opens the specific note directly, allowing you to Reply, Reply-All, or Forward right from the record.
Unified Stream: Existing "mentioned you in a note" notifications and these new email reply alerts are now consolidated under a single Note Activity notification stream to keep your updates organized.
