🚨: Aclaimant has rolled out a new set of updates focused on giving you granular control over recurring safety workflows, expanding user assignment capabilities, and clarifying the task management experience.
Scheduled Safety Reports & Task Improvements
To support more flexible organizational workflows and team-wide recurring compliance audits, we have introduced several key enhancements to our automated scheduling system.
Granular Daily Schedules: You are no longer restricted to a rigid 7-day loop for daily recurrences. You can now choose exactly which days of the week a report or task runs (for example, Monday through Friday only). Weekdays are now selected by default for all new daily configurations.
Collective-Level Assignees & Watchers: Cross-organization collaboration is now seamless. Task and report configurations are no longer limited to the current company; authorized users can now select collective-level users and roles as both assignees and watchers.
Individual Copy Generation: Rather than forcing multiple team members to share and edit a single, central task, you can now toggle an option to automatically generate individual copies for every assigned user. This ensures that team-wide recurring audits work independently for each team member as expected.
These scheduling enhancements require no manual feature flags and are active on all scheduling modules today.
Task Navigation & Labeling Updates
We have updated the task management interface with clearer terminology and deliberate structural guardrails to make it instantly obvious what each action does.
"My tasks" Workspace: The top-level task navigation menu has been renamed to My tasks, giving you a more immediate, intuitive gateway to your personal work queue.
"New company task" Allocation: The button used to create general, standalone tasks has been updated to New company task. To prevent data confusion, this action now includes an explicit in-app alert making it clear that a company task exists independently and is not associated with any underlying incident or report.
Contextual Task Creation: When you need a task explicitly linked to a specific record (such as a claim or an incident report), simply navigate directly to that specific record and generate the task from its internal sub-menu.
Updated Permissions Wordings: The company task editing permission in your Account Settings has been reworded for absolute clarity. It now explicitly states that it covers creating and editing company tasks, as well as the ability to view tasks that are not directly assigned to you.
