Product Release: Week of September 14th

🚨: Aclaimant has released new features across Collective Dashboards, OSHA permissions, Assets and Locations communications, and Email File management!

Collective Company Dashboards

Analytics dashboards configured at the Collective Company context are now centrally managed at the collective level.

  • Centralized Editing: Collective dashboards are managed and edited directly on the collective's Analytics page. They appear on each member company's page as read-only with a Managed on the collective label. Updates made at the collective level take effect across all member companies instantly.

  • Consistent Dashboard Ordering: Dashboard order is now fully stable. Collective-managed dashboards consistently display first on a company's Analytics tab, followed by the company's individual dashboards in their arranged order. The display sequence will no longer shift between page loads.

OSHA Data Editing Permission

Editing privileges for the OSHA widget on incident records—including recordability, sharps injury, and privacy concern settings—are now managed by a dedicated OSHA data editing role permission located under Incidents permissions.

  • Targeted Access Control: Users without this specific permission can still view the OSHA widget on incidents, but they will be restricted from modifying its fields. This allows administrators to grant general incident editing access to a role without giving access to recordability settings.

  • Seamless Transition: Every role that currently has incident editing capabilities has been automatically granted the new OSHA data editing permission, ensuring no disruption to existing user workflows until an admin explicitly updates the role.

Email, Inbox, and Notifications for Assets and Locations

Assets and locations now feature full integration with Aclaimant's email, inbox, and notification system, mirroring the capabilities available for incidents and safety reports.

  • Expanded Inbox Filing: Inbox messages can now be filed to records beyond incidents. Organization settings under Settings > Inbox control which answer bundle types accept inbox messages via the Allow adding inbox messages to checkboxes. Existing organizations default to incidents only; admins can toggle on additional types as needed.

    • When a single record type is allowed, the page displays Add to incident.

    • When multiple record types are enabled, the action updates to an Add to dropdown menu, allowing users to search for or create the target record type during conversion.

  • Dedicated Inbound Email Addresses: Assets and locations now feature dedicated email addresses for submitting notes. Found directly on the record's Notes page, any email sent to this address—including attachments—will be logged directly to the record as a note.

Cleaner Files Tab on Email Threads

We've streamlined how attachments are handled when email communication is attached to a record, reducing unnecessary clutter on the Files tab:

  • Signature Image Filtering: Generic image assets found in email signatures (such as company logos, icons, and social media links) are now automatically dropped rather than saved as standalone files.

  • Duplicate Prevention: Existing record attachments will not be duplicated if re-sent during a reply or forward chain, even if the file was renamed in transit.

  • Manual Deletion Persistence: If a file was manually deleted from a record, it will remain deleted and will not reappear when subsequent replies or forwards arrive.
